Shunkei VTX is a Glass-to-Glass(*1) IP video transmission system with low latency of 30ms.
Conventional video transmission systems had large delays, to the point of being uncomfortable in two-way communications such as remote control. It is said that the lower limit of human perceivable delay is approximately 20 ms, and Shunkei VTX achieves a delay close to that. The Shunkei VTX is an ideal video transmission system for use cases that require real-time performance, such as remote control.
Analog video transmission system is a typical low-latency video transmission method, but Shunkei VTX also supports video transmission over the Internet by adopting IP video transmission. It can also be used in environments under NAT or in 5G/Local 5G environments by additional configuration. A video channel and a communication channel for remote operation are also established, and video and remote operation signals are transmitted together.

Measured Glass-to-Glass delay was 30 to 40 ms.
Glass-to-glass latency as low as 30ms is at the highest level compared to other IP video transmission products. It is comparable to analog video transmission.
In general digital video transmission, if data loss occurs in the network, the video image may be missing for multiple frames or dropped frame by frame, making it impossible to view the image continuously.
With Shunkei VTX, even if some data is lost, only a portion of the video is lost, reducing the possibility of losing an entire frame. In the case of remote control, video blackouts must be avoided for safety, and the Shunkei VTX makes remote control safer.
